With another brilliant performance and social message,Ayushman Khurana has added to his hit list called Bala . In film after film the actor usually playing a middle class,small town character tackles subjects that are considered risky for the world of Hindi cinema. He started with sperm donation in Vicky Donor and seem to be working through all types of social issues.  Bala is about 'lookism' defined as discrimination based on physical appearance.  Bala is a balding 25yrs old living in Kanpur. He was named Balmukund because of his hair ,but now he's shiny hair are transforming into a lessening hairline. He is, as it is shown in the movie - from Shah Rukh Khan to Anupam Kher. Joker is a brilliant example that shows all aspects of film making. From small details like colour grading to mind blowing acting by Joaquin Phoenix (potraying as Arthur Fleck). The movie focuses on the backstory of one of the biggest villains in DC comic " THE JOKER".  The story starts with Arthur being lonely , innocent and failed stand-up comedian who attempts to feel like he's a part of this world but the dark living Gotham society slowly transforms him to a psychopathic mastermind criminal who will kill anybody for the sake of revenge. This character arc is shown through the famous joker stairs. Where in the beginning he climbs the stairs with his head down and he's body falling towards the ground representing mental state of he's mind draining in depression and failure. The 26/11 Attack of Mumbai still feels so fresh.This was a tough movie to sit through. Set on Mumbai on the fateful day of the attacks this story focuses mainly on the Taj Mahal Hotel in Apollo Bandar Colaba,and the absolute nightmare of the staff and guests trapped inside. All of us know how this story is going to turn out ,we know 100's were killed many were rescued,we know the staff was exemplary in their service beyond that they were expected to do.Like Titanic we know this is a disastrous story and we already know what is going to happen at the end.But what makes this a tough movie to sit through is ,for the first time you see  terrorists as living, breathing people with thoughts,emotions,convictions. It's a Stark reminder that this terrorists were kids, brainwashed and have been sent here,who were promised that their family will be taken care of financially.
